Hall of Fame Commercial
We only count turtles as commercial if that seems to be their sole purpose. No one would argue that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles haven't been commercialized, but that's not why they exist.
- Nestle's Turtles
A delightful confection of chocolate covered caramel and nuts, Nestle's turtles are often imitated but never quite duplicated.
Turtlewax
The Turtlewax turtle has been around since the 50's. Turtlewax was originally called Plastone, but its inventor, Ben Hirsch, passed through a small town called Turtle Creek in the early 50's and immediately connected the turtle's shell with the protective shell his product gave to cars. Turtlewax remains the market leader to this day.
